Andy Pettitte Inks One Year Deal

Andy Pettitte has decided to pitch one more year for the New York Yankees. The left hander has reportedly signed a one year deal worth $5.5 million dollars. For now (SRI will provide audio from Pettitte himself when available), hear beat reporter Sweeney Murti talk to the guys at WFAN about the signing and what it means for the Yankees rotation in 2009. With the news about Joe Torre’s book breaking today as well the media in New York has plenty to chew on for a Monday in late January.
