Bradie James Throws Jessica Simpson Under The Bus

July 27, 2009 – 7:30 am by Michael Bean

Dallas Cowboys linebacker Bradie James isn’t usually the first name that comes to mind when one thinks about the Cowboys. That’d probably be Tony Romo or former wide receiver Terrell Owens. Perhaps even tight end Jason Witten. Nevertheless, James was an integral part of the Cowboys defense last year. He registered 8 sacks, forced three fumbles and recovered two more. He also seems like a great guy and teammate.   He had some choice words to say about Jessica Simpson, the former girlfriend of quarterback Tony Romo.  James joined Hardcore Sports Radio in Toronto to talk about the upcoming season for the Cowboys and to share his thoughts on Romo’s former girlfriend.

On if he’s seen Terrell Owens’ new reality show:

“I haven’t seen it. But some of guys said he was on there kissing some bunnies so I don’t know. But that’s my boy. I like T.O.”

On if Tony Romo is ready to put some of his distractions aside and concentrate on leading the Cowboys back to the playoffs:

“Well, one thing is he broke up with his girlfriend. So I guess he’s trying to focus. I’m not saying that she was distracting him because they came to my wedding. So, you know, I guess he’s trying to be more vocal. You know, God gave him the ability to play quarterback and he might not know that he was going to be the quarterback of America’s team but it takes some type of leadership to do that and I think he has to embody his position on the field.”

On training camp and on how hard Coach Wade Phillips works his players in that stifling August Texas heat:

“You know, the thing about Wade is, he takes care of us but he catches some flack from the media because the media wants us to go out there and have a damn scrimmage every day, you know what I mean. And we can’t do that. This is the National Football League. But Wade’s a little tough too, man. Last year I think might have been one of my toughest training camps because Wade – there’s no off days. You’re always doing something. Either you’re in meetings, you never have time to yourself and I guess that’s what training camp’s about. But we like to go out there and I’d rather, you know, put on some pads, knock some people out and have a night off. That would be great. But we just have to follow suit with what Wade does.”

  2. I just read that Jessica Simpson has chosen to be a judge in the Project Runway finale. I think she will make an excellent judge as she has great style
