All I have to say is beauty is in the eyes of the beholder! It’s like being with Winona Judd instead of Ashley Judd or Solange Knowles instead of Beyonce, or Mary-Kate Olson instead of Ashley Olson. Oh wait, it doesn’t work in that last instance. Anyway, Khloe Kardashian has not one, but two famous sisters that are significantly more attractive than her. Oh, the insecurities she must have had to deal with her whole life.
Khloe dated Rashad McCants and Derrick Ward before finally settling down Lamar Odom of the Lakers after dating for less than two months. She obviously has a type! This marriage just reeks of a media creation for Khloe’s reality show. Or it could be that having Ron Artest around has made Lamar Odom certifiably insane. Either way, the Lakers are never dull. One sportsbook, Bodog.com even set a line on how long the duo would be married. The line is set at 25 months and the under sure looks like a safe bet to me.
Odom was married on Sunday, on Monday the Lakers had their media day and Odom had his own publicist there, and on Tuesday Odom participated in a one-on-one interview with Mason and Ireland on ESPN Radio Los Angeles. I’ll get the whole interview later with the basketball stuff included, but in this cut he talks about his wedding and why the rush to get married. He rambles on without making sense midway through this clip.
“I’ve been a rock star. I’ve been on my own since I was 16. Doing it so fast, there were a lot of family members that couldn’t even agree, so I can imagine what it would look like to the person that is not involved in my life everyday. But I fell in love and the reason that I knew I was in love was because I knew how I felt when I wasn’t with that person or if she was no longer in my life.”
“I’ve been in LA for 10 years. I’ve never had a problem meeting women. The first team I was on they never won a game and people thought they would win a game because they had me on the team. I was like oh man, and he’s not ugly…like him.”
(Editor’s note: I listened to this last sentence close to 25 times and I’m still not sure what he says or what he meant)
“Whether a woman works at Burger King or she was a model that we all know by name…it never was a problem. But I finally met the one that I knew if I had lost her, it would hurt the most.”
Host: Can you share how you met her and how long it took before you knew you were in love?
