BIG J. As soon as you threw out the term "whitebread", your opinion on Mr. Keteyian's article lost all credibilty. You're an idiot.

I'm sure that Mr. Kateyian is a nice man and a fairly competent TV personality. I know nothing of his qualifications as a crime investigator, but my bet is that he is probably too white bread and affluent to be experientially aware of the true under belly of society.

As such, and as a ratings conscious reporter (?), his observations are already colored by his social status. Were they not, he would be consciously aware of the fact that even the nicest, most innocent young man or woman (I'm not saying Jenny K was either nice or innocent because I have no first hand knowledge of that) can be transformed into something not so nice or innocent, by the use of drugs and alcohol. The cumulative effect of substance abuse can be even more dramatic and violent.

As someone who has seen many lives lost to, and ruined by, alcohol and drugs, I'd suggest Mr. K look at this case from a position as far removed from that of an ignorant, white bread, prosperous public figure and get down and dirty where an unfortunately enormous number of Americans live, then re-think his position that "it was just like this just doesn’t make sense where a 20-year old girl who turns out had never really held a gun in her life in her hand and really hated to watch horror movies"

I knew Steve McNair slightly and cared about him as a person. I'm sorry he's gone. I particularly miss his smile. But I have no right to state anything more than my OPINION about this situation. I'd greatly appreciate Mr. Kateyian being clear on the fact that even after "hundreds of hours" of investigation and sleepless nights, and in spite of an obvious vested interest in appearing hard working, wise & knowledgeable, his remarks are only that - nothing more than HIS OPINION. And there are millions of opinions.
