First this whole line situation has been the problem since Mike brought in the zone. At some point you have to say I don't have the right lineman for it and go back to straight blocking. Second when was college ever reliable. he was one of the most penalized lineman in the league last year. Third we have for our line coach the guy who played center for the Oline that gave up the most sacks in packer history and we are suprised. Fourth we went to the guy that led the worst offense in the league at SF and said that is the guy that we want to not only run one of the most prolific offenses in the NFL but we want him to run our team. Please Sf is still trying to recover from good old Mike

I've ALWAYS admired Big Gil. He is an old-fashioned football player who still has competitive fire in his belly. He also makes sense in what it may take to reverse the trend. But how do you stop the regression of formerly reliable players like Colledge and Clifton? Chad may be old but not Daryn. It's akin to a rapidly spreading virus that is even affecting Rodgers. The good (and perhaps optimistic) fact is that IF (big IF) somehow the team can take the fight to the Cowboys, this virus can just as quickly become a bad memory. I'm not at all confident that this group of players, with our very questionable leadership, has it in them.

The Packers were over rated coming in to the season (how do you go from 6 and 10 to supposed Super Bowl contenders). That said, Gilbert is right on about the same mistakes being made and nothing seems to be corrected. Oh,by the way the Vikes won the Division last year and they now have a QB so can you really be surprised at how they are playing?
