There Are Even Rap Songs About Tiger Woods

It’s crazy, but the world seemingly stopped during Tiger Woods’ thirteen minute speech last Friday.  I truly have no idea what to call it as it surely wasn’t a press conference.  Whatever it was, it was on every major network and I don’t know anyone that didn’t see it.

No reason to give my opinion on the speech as it’s been re-hashed over and over again here on SRI and everywhere else on the web. I’d rather just have fun and laugh at Tiger Woods’ expense.  I find Tiger thoroughly unlikeable and only feel bad for his wife and kids.   I can’t remember in my lifetime a sports story that crossed over into every facet of news coverage like Tiger Woods’ accident and infidelities have.  And when he finally gets back onto the golf course, it will only get bigger.

Apparently I’m not the only who likes having fun at Tiger’s expense.  Rapper and actor Chris “Ludacris” Bridges wrote a rap called “Sexting” where he starts off imitating Tiger with his now famous voice message to Jaimee Grubbs to get her name off her phone.  The hook of the song is “my girl went through my cell phone”.   Great stuff!

Listen to Ludacris’ song “Sexting” about Tiger Woods (Hat tip to The Fan 105.3 in Dallas)
