The offensive game plan at Cleveland was lacking in genius and the in game decisions of Mike Brown on offense were less than effective. I'm anxious to see what LeBron does under better tutelage and strategy. I've always thought he got too much attention and hadn't yet earned the accolades heaped on him, although there's no denying his amazing abilities and physique. Actually, because he was nervous and participating in a reality show life changing decision, his interview revealed a level of candor and humility and transparency that increased my understanding and respect for him. He's a very young man, making a momentous decision for himself, the teams involved, and the entire league. That's pressure, but I believe the positive influence of peers, veterans, and mentors at Miami will change his grasp of the game. He's a sponge and I predict he'll come out of this a better player and a better person.

Point being it's naeve to think that this is some kind of first in sports, the only thing questionable about LJ and Bosh and Wade joining forces is the way they went about it with all the twittering and parading around recruitment extravaganza nonsense and then the 2HOUR ESPN SPECIAL labeled "The Decision". What was ESPN going to do? Say no thanks we don't want to be the sports program to announce one of the biggest free agent stories in the history of the NBA, we'll just let someone like Fox News or TNT or ABC run that Special(and you know that's exactly what would have happened.) It'd be like all the big time news programs passing up on a story about The President declaring war on China and letting someone like a late night talk show host or Slam Magazine tell the entire country about it. Ludicrous!

As usual Coach Krzyzewski hits the nail on the head, He's been one of the greatest basketball minds throughout my entire life. I find it funny that anyone would think that LeBron James is running off because he didn't think he could win it alone. And how everyone is making this big deal about how MJ, Magic, Bird, Kareem, Wilt, and Kobe and Shaq and even Barkley to some extent, and all the other greats would never have rushed off to join each other. That's the biggest crock of all.
You think Kareem wouldn't have raised hell if Magic thought about leaving, or the Lakers ever thought about trading him. You think if the bulls hadn't kept Pippen MJ wouldn't have raised all hell? Oh wait Jordan basically kept Pippen there singlehandedly. Then you've got Shaq and that story reads, Shaq and Penny, Shaq and Kobe, Shaq and Wade, Shaq and Nash and Amare and Grant Hill, Shaq and LeBron, Don't forget The Mailman and The Glove joining the Kobe and Shaq Lake Show AFTER they'd already won 3 of the past 4 championships, More recently you've got Allen Iverson joining the Pistons and Nuggets and after an overnight in Memphis heading back to Philly, Tracy McGrady joined the Rockets to try and get Yao over the hump but neither of them could stay healthy at the same time and ended up not even playing together for even half a season together out of what 4 or 5 seasons, Then you've got Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen joining the Celtics with Paul Pierce, Marbury and Sprewell joining KG in Minnesota, Jkidd and Vince Carter teaming up, JKidd joing the Mavs, along with Brendan Haywood and Caron Butler, Tim Duncan and David Robinson, Rasheed Wallace joining the Celtics last year, Pau Gasol joining The Lake Show, Antawn Jamison, Gil, and Caron, And now you've got a 22-24 pt and 10-11 rebound PF, joining the second coming of Magic who's been stuck as a point forward with marginal talent around him for the first 7 seasons of his still young and storied career, and one of the other 1 out of 4 M.D.A.D.P.I.T.G.(most dynamic and dominate players in the game), the other two people being Kobe Bryant and Carmelo Anthony. And Carmelo is being generous as he's more on the level of say Dwight Howard and Kevin Durant as a rookie, Durant having crept up and put himself in the Kobe, Wade, and LeBron conversation alot more securely than Melo is at this point.
