Manny Ramirez Partakes In The Weirdest Interview Ever

If you read that headline, most would immediately think it was ‘Manny being Manny’.  In this instance, Manny only had a tiny role in this being the weirdest interview I’ve ever heard.  Vic “the Brick” Jacobs for KLAC in Los Angeles was at spring training and interviewed Manny Ramirez.Vic the Brick kept calling Manny, “El Manyaco” (I have no idea how to spell that) and it sounded like he was trying to imitate the Godfather.  He even described to the listeners what “El Manyaco” meant.  Manny loved it as he was laughing throughout the interview.  Vic is as out there as any sports radio host I’ve ever heard or seen, check out his picture down below.  I’ve listened to this interview countless times and I waver back and forth between this being funny and beyond stupid with beyond stupid in the lead. There are only a few quotes worth mentioning below.  Vic the Brick even reads a haiku he wrote about Manny and Jonathan Papelbon.  I’m all for humor on the radio, but you only get a few chances to actually interview Manny Ramirez and no questions.

Importance were asked.Manny when asked about Papelbon’s recent comments:

“That’s in the past.  Whatever happened that’s in the past. I moved on with my love already.”
On what music he’ll use in the clubhouse this year:

“I don’t know yet, I think I’m going to talk to my DJ Camp and probably he’s going to hook me up with something to go to the plate.” The interview is only five minutes long and just for the curiosity factor it’s worth listening.  I’m really curious what everyone else thinks about this interview.
