Ryan Clark Is Ready To Hit Once More In 2008

Ryan Clark Is Ready To Hit One More Time This Season
January 26, 2009 – 2:55 pm by Michael Bean
Pittsburgh Steelers S Ryan Clark spent a few minutes last Friday talking to ESPN Radio Los Angeles about Super Bowl XLIII and his health leading up to the big game. Clark of course was the one who decked Ravens RB Willis McGahee, knocking him out and sending him off the field on a stretcher. Clark too was shaken up on the play but insists that he’ll be ready to play when the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Arizona Cardinals lace it up in Tampa on Sunday. Clark was asked what his response is to people who may say that Clark’s hits are dirty:
‘I guess it’s somewhat  of a compliment. I think on their end it’s somewhat ignorant. First of all if you watch any hit of mine, I never lead with my helmet.’
