Potential Free Agent Safety William Moore: “I Feel Like I can do it All”

We’re less than a week now until NFL free agency gets underway and William Moore of the Atlanta Falcons is one of the top safeties who is expected to hit the open market. Moore made the Pro Bowl in 2012 and while there’s a chance he returns to the Falcons, his future is still completely up in the air at this point in time. William Moore joined Zach and Rammer on ESPN 101 in St. Louis to discuss free agency, which looms in less than a week, whether he could return to Atlanta, what he brings to the table, and the recent cuts made by the Falcons.

On how it feels knowing he’s on the verge of becoming a free agent:

“Mind-boggling a little bit. You’re sitting back, you know you’re waiting for your destination and your value as a player. But at the same time, it’s a good problem to have, so you’ve gotta be excited about stuff like this.”

On if there’s a chance he could return to the Falcons:

“I don’t have the slightest idea.”

On his game:

“I feel like I can do it all as far as being active in the run game. And I like to be. I don’t have a part of my game where I’m uncomfortable at. I feel like I can do it all. I’m not saying I’m perfect as a safety; I know there’s some things to work on. And I’m looking forward to improving my man-to-man coverage and I think I can do it all — go get the ball, intercept it and do it all.”

On Michael Turner, John Abraham and Dunta Robinson all being released last week:

“Stuff like this don’t happen everyday, but it’s part of the business and it basically just opened the eyes up for young players like me to let you know that nobody’s safe. You have to continue to get better.”
