Joe Flacco’s Rookie Season Is Over

Baltimore Ravens rookie QB has plenty to hang his hat on after leading his team to the AFC Championship Game as a rookie, but he was downright awful Sunday against the Steelers, completing just 13/30 passes for 141 yards. What really hurt his team were the three INTs that he threw, including the game-clinching pick to Troy Polamalu who took it to the house for a 9 point Steelers lead late in the 4th quarter.

Flacco reflected on WNST about the mistakes he made that cost his team but also how the team will one day look back at this season with fond memories:

”We were obviously disappointed that it worked out that way and that I decided to throw it to Troy there at the end…When you look back at it..somewhere down the road..someday we’ll be happy with what our season was this year.’ Flacco did a lot of growing up this year in Baltimore.
