The Stanley Cup Final came to an end last night, but not before Canadian adult entertainment actress Taylor Stevens hijacked the attention from the teams one last time. The 24-year-old was once again in her seat behind the New Jersey Devils’ bench, exposing her cleavage to the coaches, the players and the television cameras. Before Game 6 Monday, Taylor Stevens joined Daren Millard and Doug MacLean on The Fan 590 in Toronto to discuss her new-found fame in the world of hockey. She insisted she wasn’t a plant who was paid to distract the coaches and players and doesn’t feel as though she was successful in doing so anyway.
On the notion that she’s a plant to distract the Devils’ coaches and players:
“If I was a plant, they’d probably want their money back, wouldn’t they? But I’m not. If anyone knows me, they know I go to almost every sporting event. I love football, I love basketball, I love hockey. I’m usually at — wherever city I am — I’m usually at the game. So I was just their to see the Kings hoist the Cup.”
On the players and coaches being distracted:
“I really feel that they’re not. I really feel that this was a really funny thing that happened, but they’re focused on the game and if they love the sport as much as I love the sport, then I know they’re focused. They’re focused on winning the Stanley Cup and that’s where the focus should be. I’m not bigger than the game. My boobs might be bigger than the game, but I’m not bigger than the game.”
On if anyone from the Kings’ organization contacted her after Game 4:
“No, nobody contacted me. Nope. I’m just a fan that went to the game and this came out of it. And I think it’s good. I think if it brings attention to hockey and it makes people smile, then I’m happy.”
