Former head coach of the Indianapolis Colts Tony Dungy joined The Dan Patrick Show on Tuesday to talk about what he’s been up to since retiring as the head coach of the Colts a couple of weeks ago. Dungy mentioned taking his kids to school, going to the inauguration of Barack Obama, going fishing and other activities that he wouldn’t have been able to do had he still been employed as the leader of the Colts.
DP asked Dungy to answer exactly why he decided to hang up the whistle:
‘I probably have other things that I want to do and to me it’s seeing if I can do something to help the community I live in that I might not be able to do if I had been coaching.’
